Saint Panteleimon

Saint Panteleimon, Great Martyr and Healer, was a physician of Nicomedia who treated the sick without payment and was martyred around 305. He is shown as a young man holding a small box of medicines and a spoon for administering them. Christians pray to him for the healing of body and soul. Feast: July 27 (August 9).

UV-printed on a solid ash panel, 5.9 × 4.7 in, with a micro-relief surface and a gold-leaf-textured background; the varnish gives a finish close to hand-painted tempera. Comes with a stand for a shelf or prayer corner.
